Famu Football 2025 Schedule: Rattlers to play at Orange Blossom Classic, host Jackson State – Talahasi Democrat


Florida football A&M has five home games this season, which includes Alcorn State hosting for home return and protection of national Black College Jackson State champions.

On Thursday, Florida A&M launched Rattlers’ football schedule for 2025.

Famu Football will play 12 games this season. Eight of them are competitions for Southwestern Athletic Conference. Rattlers have five home games of Ken Riley Field at Bragg Memorial Stadium.

Rattlers’ Slate from 2025 includes his return to the Orange Blossom Classic to Miami to open the season after a one -year absence. The opposite opponent of Famu Orange Blossom is the team of the Athletic Conference in the Middle East Howard Bason, which Rattlers won in the 2023 celebration Cup to request the Black College National Football Championship.

The Famu schedule has one opponent of the Football Bowl division, The Florida Atlantic Owls, for 2 weeks in Boca Raton.

Rattlers’ home opening is on September 13, when NCAA Division II HBCU Albany State visits Bragg.

The Famu Chao Week is 4 weeks before he entered the SWAC game, hosting Alabama on September 27.

The Famu Football Home Return Game is on October 18 against the Swac Alcorn State enemy, a team they have been confronted with since 1987. Florida’s annual football match between Rattlers and Bethune-Cookman Wildcat Stadium.

Determining the Famu season can begin when Rattlers hosts the multi -year Meac Powerhouse Central Center on October 11 and ends with the SWAC protection and national Black College Jackson State football champions on November 1. Both matches are in Bragg.

The 2025 season of Famu will be James Kolai III’s second season as the main coach, coming out of 7-5 records in 2024.

Week 4: Saturday, September 20 – Bye/Open Week

Week 5: Saturday, September 27 – Against Alabama State (SWAC)

Location: Brag Memorial in Talahasi, Florida

Week 6: Saturday, October 4 – Mississippi Valley (SWAC)

Location: Rice stadium in Ita Bena, Mississippi

Week 7: Saturday, October 11 – against North Carolina Central

Location: Brag Memorial in Talahasi, Florida

Week 8: Saturday, October 18 – against Alcorn State (Swac/Homecoming)

Location: Brag Memorial in Talahasi, Florida

Week 9: Saturday, October 25 – in South (SWAC)

Location: AW MUMFORD stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Week 10: Saturday, November 1st – against Jackson State (SWAC)
