Yamada will remain in post until the end of the 2028/29 season
Japanese conductor Yamada has signed a two -year extension of the contract as a music director of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO). For the first time appointed to the post in 2023, Yamada was already agreed by the end of the 2028/29 season.
