Las Vegas, Nev. (FOX5) – A man from Las Vegas said he did robbery because his work does not pay well and has a sick daughter.
Las Vegas police have released the Jose Manuel Arse-Martinez arrest report to FOX5. He faces four looting with a deadly weapon, a burglary with a firearm and a hidden wearing without permission.
Police said he robbed various trucks, stands and restaurants between January 21st and 26.
The first incident happened this Tuesday morning at Taco truck. Police say Arsce-Martinez approached the truck from behind and pulled out a black gun.
The victim gave $ 400 from the register. He would run into a light blue pickup.
The next robbery happened two days later in West Las Vegas. It is said that Arce-Martinez approached the taco booth and threatened victims of black semi-automatic firearms.
He took $ 700 in cash from the victim’s register and phones.
The next day, Arsce-Martinez was close to the Westside’s historic region. Police claim to have entered the business and started ordering.
At one point, police claims he had pulled out a black firearm. The victim gave him $ 750.
During this robbery, the suspect told the business that he had a sick daughter and his work did not pay enough.
He took a gold necklace from another victim and then escaped. Video surveillance at this place showed that he was driving a chevrolet 1500 pickup truck from the 90s.
The last robbery happened near Rancho and Vegas Drive. The suspect again demanded money with a firearm.
When the victim said there was no money to give, Arce-Martinez claims he had taken a jacket with debit cards, a driver’s license and a social security card.
After being informed of the robbery, a patrol vehicle noticed what was believed to be the suspected vehicle near the Ranch’s place.
The suspect description also coincides.
Police saw a pickup park in the nearby auto. Police were able to take him in custody and find a black firearm.
He told the police in an interview that he knew nothing about robbery. He said he was a mechanic and that his daughter was sick.
As he corresponds to the description of the crimes and was found with the objects he had taken, such as the portfolio and the necklace, he was booked at the Clark County Center.
