Opera at LSU

The Turner-Fisher Center will present its final performance of Gaetano Donizetti’s heart-warming comedy, “L’elisir d’amore” at 3:00 pm on October 27 in the Shaver Theater in the LSU Music and Dramatic Arts Building, Dalrymple Drive.

Southeastern Louisiana University’s Gallery of Contemporary Art in Hammond presents a solo exhibition by Latvian artist Liga Spunde titled Episodes of Ignorance. Curator Maja Rudovska, the exhibition will be open until November 13.

The exhibition features a Latvian character, among other characters, and highlights the lack of stability behind the current conditions we live in, said Contemporary Gallery director Kristina Molina.
