Basketball

The FSU Men’s Basketball released its third match in a row, with the disappointing performance of the first half being too much for Seminols to overcome the loss to Virginia Tech:

The first half was, in a word, pathetic. FSU did not have any realistic chances for the NCAA tournament in this game that comes into the game, but there are still things like a first -round ACC tournament. Or even just the pride in playing in front of your friends and family. Or accountability to your teammates or your personal goals. FSU looked like a team that didn’t want to be there from the jump and who questioned the management. The leadership of players from boys like Watkins and Ball Bowen. Staff leadership. And it all starts with the leadership of Alford and the Athletic Department.

No. 25/24 Florida Women’s Basketball, after an exciting victory in the last second against North Carolina, will face the eagles of the Boston College on the road tonight at 6:00 pm (ACC Network):

The ranked Seminoles won the last seven of the nine meetings over the Boston College and run the series of all time, 14-3.

Florida is led by junior guard Ta’nya Latson, who was named ACC player of the week on Monday, followed by filming a player of the USBWA Ann Meyers Week of the Week of the Week on Tuesday. Latson leads the nation in an estimate of 26.5 points per game, while NOLS holds to the second highest average in the country at 91.7 points per game.

The game will be broadcast on the ACC network with Pam Ward and Stephanie White in the conversation. Seminole Sport Network can be found on Seminoles.com and 96.5 Spear.
