Baton Rouge – Baton Rouge police arrest a man accused of trying to rape a woman under firing.
Nasemfadhlmurshed Sharafuldin, 28, was arrested on Wednesday after an investigation, which began in October.
Sharafulsin is said to have attacked a woman with a pistol in a truck that Sharafouldin drove after she refused oral sex. Police said Sharafulsin then tried to rape the woman as he pointed the gun at her.
The woman then escapes from the truck and ran to a local business on the Boulevard “Course” for help. Meanwhile, Sharafouldin waited 30 minutes in the parking lot before leaving, police said.
Subsequently, Sharafuldin was identified by the victim in a squad.
He was booked on Wednesday when trying to rape first -degree and an aggravated attack with firearms.
