Cleveland Cavaliers defeated Miami Heath 126-106 in Miami on Wednesday night. It was another strong victory for CAVS, which moved to 38-9 during the year and won their second more junk after a strange loss of three games.
CAVS star Darius Garland did not play on Wednesday night because of a break, as CAVS was on the first night on the back. CAVS, for its part, launched Jaylon Tyson, a Cal rookie, which was selected # 20 in the NBA 2024 draft.
Tyson played well, scoring four points with five rebounds and four assists in balanced efforts. Until he lit the statistical sheet offensive, he did many small things in his second career start.
After the match, the star of KAVS Donovan Mitchell spoke high about Tyson’s performance, about Realcavsfan.
“Not many guys who get 20 in college want to come and don’t want the ball, they want to do the little things,” Mitchell told Tyson. “Having this thinking, getting to a camp, let alone in these games, is huge.”
Tyson bounced a lot at college, spending one year in Texas and then in Texas Tech before playing his last season in Cal. Tyson started all 31 TEXAS TECH matches in 2022-23, an average of 10.7 ppg. In his last season at college, he was an average of 19.6 PPG with 6.8 rebounds and 3.5 mud assists.
However, Mitchell was impressed with Tyson’s ability to do the “little things” only in his second career start.

Until recently, Tyson played sparingly for Cavs. In 24 games he played 10 or more minutes just four times before January 16. Since then, he has registered 10 or more minutes five times, including his start on Wednesday.
The next time Tyson began, he was on November 20 against New Orleans Pelicani and he scored 16 points on 7 of 12 of the pitch with 11 rebounds and seven assists in a strong trip.
If the rookie continues to play so, it will be difficult for CAVS not to give him more minutes in the next few months.
