The hyaliah man accused of the fatal shooting of Cuban star of Rezhiton El Tiger last year is now facing an upgraded murder accusation.
Damian Valdez-Galoso, 49, is now faced with a first-degree murder charges after charging a major court hearing, according to court records filed on Wednesday.
Valdes-Galoso was previously charged with second-degree murder, in addition to the allegations of attempting to season physical evidence and possess a firearm by a convicted criminal.
He is also accused of failure to fulfill the sexual criminal in a separate case.
37-year-old El Tieger, whose real name was Jose Manuel Carbadzhal, was found unanswered and suffered from a firearm at the back of SUV near the northwest 9th Avenue and 17th Street back on October 3, 2024.
He was taken to the Jackson Memorial Hospital in extremely critical condition and died on his injuries days later, on October 10.
According to an arrest statement, the singer went to Valdez-Galoso’s home early this morning. Valdes-Galoso opened the door and shot El Tieger in the head, police said in a shocking crime caught on video and received by NBC6.
Valdes-Galoso grabbed El Tiger for his ankles, dragged him to the singer’s jeep and put him inside, the declaration said. Then Valdes-Galoso supposedly cleaned the scene, changed his clothes, and then left the singer’s vehicle in the vehicle.
Initially, prosecutors were not sure that they had sufficient evidence to prove first -degree murder.
Valdes-Galoso, who claims to have acted in self-defense, was ordered to be held without connection in early November.
The records show that Valdez-Galoso has a criminal background and is a registered sexual criminal after having sex with a minor. He was also serving time at a fake prison prison and was arrested three years ago for a great theft in Braurget.
