The human remains are washed on the shore of the river
While the demand for bodies and all possible survivors continued overnight, the human remains and debris were washed by Virginia on the Potomak River, according to CBS News Senior Transport and national correspondent Chris van Clive.
He said the plane had invaded numerous pieces that sit 5-8 feet of water.
A diving team has discovered that it seems to be one of the two recorders of the aircraft-so called black boxes. It was unclear whether it was the voice recorder of the cockpit or the one that stores the performance data of the aircraft.
Divers had some access to the airplane cab.
Luggage is among the items that divers have recovered.
The helicopter is upside down, but it looks mostly intact, Van Clive adds.
