The chief senior successor of Sealth and Safety Eleana Lee was nominated by Seattle Seyhox for the first ever Maxwell award for Girls High School Flag football.
Seattle – In the shade of the space needle on Saturday morning in the winter you will find one of the best players of the flag throughout the nation.
“She knows what she is doing, she performs great routes, she has good hands, good sizes, so just everything happened naturally,” said Sealth Flag football coach Kyle Gater.
So, of course, Eleana Lee found herself in numerous football teams at the Chief High School of Sites.
“I started playing with my cousins at my grandmother’s house in the backyard. I started playing a flag recently, a freshman when I started high school,” Lee said.
Her flag football coach found her when she tried to fight the team during her first year. Not only did she do it, but he said she was on the verge of breaking the list of Varsiti when she left to launch the flag team.
“She was still one of the best runners on the team in the team,” he recalls.
To someone’s surprise, this skill is better translated than anything else from 11 to seven.

From five steps forward to six points on the board, Lee always makes his presence known. Seatle Seahawks nominates her for the first ever Girls Girls National Flag Football Player of the Year football club.
“I don’t think I still hit me, but I’m just an honor that Seahawks knew me about all the hard work I’ve put,” Lee said.
They are not the only ones who knew her. Lee will play Flag football at Kansas University Weslian next year, one of the 15 Naia schools that offer football at the women’s flag at the College level. She is also invited to the US football camp with a flag, hoping to make the national team in the future.
As for the future of the flag back in his home country, coach Gater is optimistic.
“Some countries have it as a sanctioned sport, some do not, but every year it seems that this impetus is approaching and approaching,” he said. “Just when I saw growth on our scale, but also how other schools do it, I think the quality of football is just continuing to grow and grow. It’s just cool to see and be part, for sure.”
