Columbia, SC (Wolo) – after the address of the governor of the governor McMaster, the president and executive director of the Chamber of Commerce in South Carolina, responded to the governor’s speech.
In response to the state address of governor Henry McMaster in 2025, the president and executive director of the Chamber of Commerce in South Carolina released the following statement:
“Tonight, governor McMaster reminded the world why South Carolina’s economy flourished-our business policies, a highly qualified workforce, a world-class port, an abundance of natural resources and many more. His management has brought our economy to new heights, but even more opportunities are expected. By calling for tax reduction, tort reform, regulatory relief and more energy production, the governor formulates a clear path to take advantage of this opportunity and to achieve even more prosperity for South Carolina people. The National Assembly Chamber is ready to work with governor McMaster and the General Assembly to hand over these business policies in the law, many of which are included in our competitiveness program in 2025. “
