As the second round of practices at Senior Bowl is over, here are the most recent updates for the Gamecocks South Carolina present.
One of the most exciting elements of the senior bowl is competitive practices. Even more than the game, displaying during training training was one of the best ways to acquire exposure. Gamecocks in South Carolina, present at the All-Star game, have already commanded the practical field.
Kyle Kennard, Edge
After a star campaign in 2024, Kennard was considered one of the early favorites to improve his stocks during the showcase. He showed glitter flashes that show the ability to transfer his speed from the ball to brutal contact at the hat drop. Some, however, view it as a firm in certain workouts, longing for him to show more than the athleticism he is known for. With an abundance of high-caliber athletic defensive liner, Kennard still has the chance to show that he should be mentioned as one of the best protective liners in the upcoming project.
TJ Sanders, DL
Usually known as an athletic player in the defense position, TJ Sanders released everyone’s jaws after bulldousing a 285-pound guard. While he is already crawling with drafts, his manifestation of physicality has drafts on scouts that buzzing for the potential of a talented protective liner. He performed well in most training and showed that he could win matches against some of the most talented senior classes at the College of Football. Sanders generates Buzz as one of the most impressive players present on the showcase.
Demetrius Knight, lb
Demetrius Knight also impressed in practice. The teams were impressed by how its frames were arranged among the other links that were present. He has also shown great foundations, including playing well in the area coverage during scruples, as well as sound in his lateral mobility and move down. Several scouts/spectators saw him as an excellent day and have high hopes that he will be one of the “winners” of the senior cup.
