Laredo, Texas (KGNS) – Family and friends packed the gym at Mary Help of Christians School on Wednesday morning, January 29, for the 8th grade of the ceremony of the month.
The event, the first of the many planned this year, honored 23 students from high school from schools in Laredo. The program is supported by KGNS+, the Larendo Police Department and the local sponsors.
Guest -lecturer Gabriel Castillo of IBC Bank talks with the students. Representatives of both the school districts and the chief meteorologist of the KNS Richard Heatwave Berler were present.
A student from each high school is chosen every month for their hard work and dedication.
