Suspect in robbery taken in guard after searching near

Baton Rouge – at least five people are taken in custody, related to theft of vehicles and theft of pistols in southeastern Louisiana.

Law enforcement agents worked on Wednesday morning to capture two people who are said to be tied to multiple vehicle thefts through various parish in southwestern Louisiana.

Batton Rouge police officers deactivated a white Honda on the southern Akkadian grass on the ramp at about 9:45 am. The law enforcement to WBRZ that two people were jumping out of the car and they were taken in guard after a one -hour search in the area.

Sources said WBRZ’s investigative unit that the suspects were linked to a multi -phart burglary focused on theft of vehicle weapons.

St. Gabriel Ambin Ampbo police chief said the White Honda was stolen from Popingo gas station on Tuesday morning. He said the driver entered the store and when he came out, his car was gone. The chief AMBO said that St. Gabriel’s officers had restored a different vehicle that was stolen in the parish parish and was thrown within the city.

Ibervil’s parish sheriff said that Ibervil and West Baton Rouge parish deputies arrested three people from the Baton Rouge area on Tuesday night, connected with seven stolen cars. The deputies arrested 18-year-old Timothy Bessi, Stephen Smith and Joshua Stevens. They were booked for seven issues of the ordinary burglary of a motor vehicle, an aggravated flight from an officer and resistance to arrest. Smith was reserved for an additional counting of an aggravated attack on an officer.
