The Cook Out 2025 collision will be the first NASCAR CUP event, held at the Bowman Gray Stadium since 1971. On August 6, the same year, the famous Bobby Alison Hall won Myers Brothers 250.

The city of Winston-Salem is expecting heavy traffic this weekend because of the event. Police advise drivers and pedestrians to use additional caution when traveling in the areas around Bowman Gray Stadium during the event.
