Mr. Trump’s lawyers filed a notice of appeal on Wednesday, requesting the New York Court of Appeal to overturns his sentence last May for 34 pieces of falsifying business records.
The case, which includes an alleged scheme for hiding the payment of money to the adult -based film actor, Stormy Daniels, during the 2016 Republican campaign for 2016, was the only one of his criminal cases that went to court.
