Parliament approves Linda Oklu, Quadvo -Augum and Gilbert Adeho as ministers – 3News

Parliament unanimously approved Emmanuel Quadvo-Agekum as the Minister of State, Special Initiatives, Linda Obuli Akueli Oklu as Minister-Denic for the Larger Akra and Kenneth Gilbert, as a minister-formed, workers, housing and water resources.

The Chamber approved the ministerial candidates on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, after the MPs discussed the eight reports of the appointment committee. Now they are expecting their swearing from President Mahama.

All three nominees were checked on Tuesday, January 28, 2025.

So far, 17 ministers have been approved and sworn by President Mahama of the 42 who have been nominated.

Parliament is yet to approve the Minister of Land and Natural Resources Emmanuel Arma-Kofy Boa as a leader of minorities, Afenio-Marckin raised questions, including a previous commentary on the nominee for President Akfo-ADO.

On Thursday, January 30, the Minister of Communication, indicating himself, Narta George and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudze, will face the appointment committee.
