Colton, California – “The Colton Police Department is aware of the information that is being distributed in the recent arrest community, which involves two students from the Colton high school.
On January 15, 2025, at about 1:26 pm, police officers of the Colton police resources received a report from high school employees in Kolton, stating that a student may have concealed a pistol on the campus.
Employees thoroughly searched the campus but did not find the student. The employees continued the search outside the campus and found two minors in a local business on the other side of the high school.
During their contact with minors, a firearm was discovered. A 16-year-old minor has been arrested and booked in a minor hall, while a second 17-year-old minor has also been arrested and released to parents.
The arrests made in this investigation are the result of the campus community notifying authorities of suspicious activity and strong cooperation between the Kolton police station and the unified Kolton School District.
