Two men were killed and two others were injured early on Sunday morning in a car accident with one vehicle.
Shortly before 3:30 in the morning, police officers in Talahasi arrived at the scene of the Katus Street, according to a TPD social media publication. Initial investigation efforts found that the vehicle was traveling north when “leaving the roadway, hitting a tree.”
“The driver, an elderly man and the passenger in the front seat, an elderly woman were taken to a local hospital with life -threatening injuries,” TPD said. “Unfortunately, passengers in the back seat and the two elderly men succumbed to their injuries.”
A TPD spokesman failed to answer questions about the victims.
Cactus Street from Block Drive to Hayward Drive were blocked for a period of time, until the first reacts cleared the scene.
The TPD trafficking department is investigating the crash that is still an active investigation.
