BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Warm and dry conditions will continue into the weekend, but we may catch a few record highs in the process. Today will begin with areas of fog, not everyone will see it, otherwise it will become sunny and warm with highs in the upper 80s.
The next few days will see a gradual rise in dew points as moisture levels begin to rise.
The other thing that will rise is the temperature, with near-record temperatures in the coming days.
The Drought Monitor has been updated and shows increasing drought/drought conditions in Louisiana.
By extension, the next chance for rain will be Halloween Wednesday, but those are slim chances.
