East Baton Rouge Parish, La. (WAFB) – MPs said they had made numerous arrests and seized drugs and weapons during an investigation by the drug trafficking group “Play for Keeps”.
According to the Sheriff of Eastern Baton Ruzhua Joshua Morris, 39; Jalen Chavis, 29; and Joshua Normand, 22; Everyone was locked. An order will be received for 35 -year -old Jarret Edwards, MPs said. They added that all four suspects were faced with numerous accusations.
MPs said they identify Morris and Chavis as leaders of the group after monitoring. According to EBRO, authorities have been able to make multiple controlled Crack Cocaine purchases by Morris.
During the investigation, several residences were identified on Laurel Street, which the group was alleged to facilitate drug trafficking, MPs said. They added that search orders were received for six places.
The following drugs and firearms were seized during the execution of Varants on Tuesday, January 28, according to Ebro:
- 10.5 grams of cocaine cocaine
- 34 dosage units of pressed fentanyl (34 deadly doses)
- 10.2 ounces of marijuana
- 10.5 ounces of Promethesine
- 1 dose of a unit of 30 mg amphetamine
- 11 dosages of Lortab
- 13 dose of unit of oxycodone
- 2 020 dollars currency (in anticipation of seizure)
- Numerous
- 2 hand -controlled pills presses (one with fentanyl residue)
- 5 Glock 9mm pistols
- Ruger .380 pistol
- Remington 12 gauge rifle
- Ruger 9mm pistol
- 2 Rossi .38 special revolvers
