Las Vegas, Nev. (FOX5) – The city of Las Vegas offers lead falling checks and repair for older homes in the valley.
It is an effort to get families to live in a more fascinated environment. The city received a four -year grant from the Lead Danger and Health House Hazard Control to help develop affordable ways to reduce the risks of leading lead.
Housing owners must qualify and be located within the city.
The property must be built before 1978, should have a child under 6 in the household or visit the household regularly and should meet the HUD income requirements.
The program is free.
