NC’s time forecast for relic, Durm and Faetavil, North Carolina – ABC11 Raleigh -durham

Raleigh, NC (WTVD) – The ongoing section of dry weather continues on Thursday as high pressure is pressed east and closer to the shore.

The conditions will be windy at times on Wednesday because of a trough that swings north of the region, and a gradient of tightening the pressure in the Carolins. The wind can range from 10-20 mph at times on Wednesday with a random gust to 30 mph. In addition to a breeze on Wednesday, temperatures will rise with high maximums in the above 60’s, approximately 13-15 degrees above historical average.

Looking forward in the end of the week, the next chance of rainfall in the state will be later on Friday afternoon, when a storm shifts northeast of the Tennessee Valley and brings a number of rain and thunderstorms in the Southeast states. The models continue to show a slightly faster decision with the time of arrival of rain and storms than in the previous days, displacing rainfall from the region until later Friday night. At that time, we think that the best chance for Thunder would be later on Friday afternoon before moving to the main only threat to rain on Friday night.

The predicted rainfall amounts are slightly lower than the last days with a slightly faster progression of this storm through the triangle. The preliminary quantities between 0.25-0.75 inch can be possible in the city, depending on the speed of the storm forward. The high pressure will quickly move to the east, which will now dry on Saturday and leave the rest of the weekend and also dry at the beginning of next week.

Have a nice evening!

Great time
