Two teams are fighting for positioning at the top of the Big Ten Summit in College Park on Wednesday night.
Both Wisconsin and Maryland were among the best teams in the League this season and primed for strong seasons when we approach the NCAA tournament, but who can win over the other?
Let’s put the scene for one of the biggest matches of the big ten season on Wednesday.

John Tondy: The transfer senior continued his incredible performance on Sunday, dropping 27 points of Nebraska. He does everything for the badgers at both ends of the floor and was a catalyst for the top 10 of the team, for Kenpom.
Maryland
Julian Reese: The ahead is a fantastic couple on the front court with Derik Queen, providing length and distance from both ends of the floor. The senior continues to flourish as a big man who can defend the rim, scoring 14 points to go with 10 fights in the exciting team victory against Indiana over the weekend.
This should be a high -level affair and I am inclined to trust both crimes in what may be an affair with a tempo.
Wisconsin usually does not rush into insult, but Maryland’s aggressive defense can lend hands to more possessions on Wednesday, as Badgers seems to hit his first reading of insult more often against Terps.
Meanwhile, Terps’s crime is one of the most up-to-date pace in the country, ranked 19th in an average duration of the possession of insult. Wisconsin is ready to allow the teams to work quickly in the defense this season and qualify outside the top 200 in the rate of turnover, so ask Terps to press the pace early and often in this one.
Both teams are contenders for the title of the big ten, but in a game that may include more possessions than expected – as well as two capable teams on the free throws line – I like the game to overcome the total number.
