The Casino’s Pressing in Fairfax County has officially entered a new territory.
After lining a similar legislation proposed by the State Senator Dave Marsden (D-35) last year, the Senate Finance and Budget Loan Committee voted 9-6 this morning (Tuesday) to report the majority leader’s bill (D-34) to add the bill to add the Virginia County County to the eligible casino hosts the full house.
The Senate is expected to listen to the SB 982 and vote for its passage this Friday (January 31st), the Sourail Service said. The bill, which gives the Council of Fairfax District Supervisory Authorities, call a referendum about voters to allow a casino, will still have to cross the Chamber of Delegates before going to the Glen Youngkin Bureau.
