They continue to be very challenging times for some of the largest retail chains in America.
The higher cost of doing business and exhausted labor supply have forced several companies to scathing operations across the country.
The latter is Kohl’s, who has announced that he has closed 27 stores in 15 different states. These places were identified as “struggling” by the company.
The action comes after the Menomonee Falls, a Wisconsin-based chain, has reported the 11th quarter of declining sales.
The most difficult condition will be California, which will lose ten stores. Illinois, Ohio and Virginia will see two places they lose in every state.
After the closure, Kohl will still have more than 1150 seats.
51 of these stores are in South Dakota, Iowa and Minnesota. These three countries had no place that appeared on the closure list.
