It’s Halloween in the Capital Region!
As All Saints Eve approaches, parents should be aware of trick-or-treating hours in the various parishes that make up the metropolitan region. A list of these hours is available below:
Ascension Parish
– For the entire parish: from 6 to 8 p.m
Assumption Parish
– For the whole parish: from 17:30 to 20:00
East Baton Rouge Parish
– For the entire parish: from 6 to 8 p.m
Iberville Parish
– For the entire parish: from 6 to 8 p.m
Parish of Tangipahoa
– City of Amite: from 17:00 to 19:00
– Tangipahoa Rural Parish: 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m
– Kentwood from 17:00 to 19:00
Parish of Livingston
– City of Walker: 6 to 8 p.m
– Non-corporate areas: from 18:00 to 20:00
– City of Albany: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m
Pointe Coupee Parish
– New roads: from 17:30 to 19:30
– Rural areas: from 17:30 to 19:30
St. Mary’s Parish
– For the entire parish: from 6 to 8 p.m
West Baton Rouge Parish
– Non-corporate areas: 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m
– Brusly: from 17:30 to 19:30
– Addis: from 17:30 to 19:30
West Feliciana Parish
– St. Francisville: 5:30pm to 7:30pm (restricted to children 12 and under; trick-or-treaters should also call homes where lights are on; Royal St will be close to vehicles.)

– Belleview’s IRPD’s Boo from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at Plaquemine Belleview Park (restricted to children over 12).
– The Arc’s Drive Thru Trunk or Treat from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at the Arc of East Ascension (1122 S. East Ascension Complex Blvd. Gonzales, LA 70737).
Thursday, Oct. 24
– Knock Knock! Is boo there? from 17:00 to 19:00 at the Chuk-chuk Children’s Museum.
– Spooky Serenity October 24th through October 30th at Events at Serenity (33135 LA-16, Denham Springs, LA 70706; tickets are $15.)
– Trunk or Treat at Capitol Elementary School from 4:00pm to 5:00pm
– Jamestown Witches Walk at 14445 Market North Drive starting at 6:15 p.m
Friday, Oct. 25
– BREC’s Swamp Haunted Hikes from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at 8815 Oak Hills Parkway in Baton Rouge ($6 per adult and $8 per child; geared toward younger children).
-Trunk or Treat from 5:30pm to 7:00pm at 4811 Harding Blvd in Baton Rouge.
– Bag or Treat at the East Baton Rouge Parish Schools Learning Resource Center from 5:00pm to 6:00pm
– Ghosts and Ghouls Halloween from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Tanger Outlets in Gonzales.
– Halloween Senior Sock Hop; lunch is served at 11 a.m. in the Lamar-Dixon Expo Center Gym.
– Witches Night from 5pm to 7pm at The B Hive to enjoy treats and Halloween Bubbly (Merle Norman 501 New Roads Street).
Saturday, October 26
– Trunk or Treat from 11am to 1pm at the St. Fire Department. George, 14100 Airline Highway.
– Fifolet Halloween Parade starting at 4pm in downtown Baton Rouge.
– Boo Bash from 5:30pm to 9:00pm at The Village at Willow Grove in Baton Rouge.
– BRPD Trunk or Treat 10am to 2pm at Howell Community Park, 5509 Winbourne Avenue.
– East Feliciana Parish Spooktacular on College Street in Jackson from 5 to 8 p.m.
– Trick of Treat at Old River Landing. Children’s ride with costumes for children and adults, registration for the ride takes place from 17:00 to 18:00 and the ride starts at 18:00
Sunday, October 27
– Haints, Haunts and Halloween from 2:00pm to 4:30pm at the LSU Museum of Country Life ($6 admission for children, $12 admission for 12+).
– City of Zachary Trunk or Treat in downtown Zachary from 3:00 to 5:30 p.m
– Livingston Pumpkin Palooza in the Park from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Circle Drive Park featuring a pumpkin carving contest with a Playstation 5 grand prize.
– St. George Fire Department Trunk or Treat Fest from 11am to 1pm at the St. George at 14100 Airline Highway.
