Sales of Scottsdale 2025 See Mixed Results for Barrett -Jackson, Bonhams and RM Sotheby’s – Magneo Magazine

Sales season on Scottsdale is an important bell for an early year for the market condition-and generally the polishes are positive.

The year really started with the sales of the Kissimmee on Mecum-here we have a separate report-but with Barrett-Jackson, Bonhams and RM Sotheby all fights in Arizona, it allows us to look at a wider view of the market.

Bonhams aside, RM Sotheby’s and Barrett-Jackson have done a good business. The nine -day bonanza of the latter has led to several record results, although we can only judge by sales that have been strong. There were some remarkable special sales – such as Project Sweat Dodge Power Wagon, in the photo above. Designed by the television personality, Colby Donaldson – known for their appearances on Surviving -A built by Ohio -based builder Sugar Creek, it is sold for $ 1.5 million, all of whom go to the Mikerowworks Foundation to help teach the next generation of skilled workers. Meanwhile, the first 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, Vin001 sold for $ 3.7 million, with all revenue going to the US Red Cross.

RM Sotheby has created several of its auction records, but overall, the bigger part of its sales sat well in accurate estimates, including the upper leading batch, 1958 Ferrari 250 GT LWB Berlineta. It sold for $ 3.772,500 for a $ 3.5 million-4.5 million estimate, while one of only two Bentleys harvests in the United States, the 8-liter convertible Victoria of Murphy sold for $ 3.195 million versus $ 2.75 million dollars-3.25 million dollars.

Bonhams is fighting again, selling only one of its four $ 1 million batches (A Mercedes-Benz Gullwing, see below). Her numerous Porsches struggles to collect a lot on the path of enthusiasm, even for some of the rarest batches, for example, one of 17 1981. 924 Carrera GTR, depicted above, failed to sell at $ 450k- $ 550K estimate. The bigger part of the Bonhams batches were less than $ 500,000, and its best results were largely below $ 100,000.

As such, it is a little early to say whether any specific brands are trendy-different from modern supercars and hyperkars, which continue to attract great interest if Barrett-Jackson and RM Sotheby’s are markers. However, the high sales rates of both auction houses show that there is a place for optimism directed by 2025, unlike the cold 2024.

We have chosen some of the most important batches, the big victories and the remarkable struggles.

Barrett-Jackson

With nine days, sales and thousands of batches for the widespread sale of Barrett-Jackson, there was something to see, and the players were ready to accumulate the money. The leading result was the above Hennessey Venom F5, which sold for $ 2.2 million, dimming $ 1.925 million paid for Pagani Huayra for 2014 with the TEMPESTA package and $ 1.76 million paid for a special edition of DJ Marshmello for 2020 GT GT Liquid Carbon.

In the classic kingdom, the 1959 Komfort Porsche 959 Komfort sold for $ 1.457 million (pictured above), 1956 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing went for $ 1.402 million, and a personalized Land Rover Series from 1981 has reached $ 438,900. Elsewhere, Ferrari 512 TR since 1994, sold for $ 277,700, continental convertible in Lincoln since 1965 in black, sold for $ 291 500 and Jeff Hayes Customs 1963 Chevrolet Corvette, sold For $ 990K.

Bonhami

With the leading two lots of Bonhams-1967 Lamborghini Miura (a high offer of $ 1.8 million versus $ 2.2 million-2.8 million estimated) and 1956 Ferrari 250 Europa GT (a high offer of $ 1.8 million -2.3 million)-Neusha of Skotsdale’s sales in the above 1956 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing took the result at home, changing for $ 1.49 million versus $ 1.45 million-1-1 , $ 55 million estimated.

Mercedes-Benz Edition Mercedes-Benz Mercedes-Benz continued the good performance of Bonhams with SLR variants is sold only for a shy of its low $ 715K estimate of $ 725K- $ 825K. As Mentioned Above, The Estimate-Burte Results for Bonhams Largely Came in the Sub- $ 100K Category, With A 1979 Rolls Camargue HITTING $ 41,440 Against A $ 25K- Aloon Selling For $ 22,400 Against a $ 8k- $ 12K score.

This was not all good news for British brands in Scottsdale sales, although quite few sold in the estimation-with a striking look at 1957 Bentley S1, once shown at the James Young booth at the Earls COURT Automobile Exhibition, selling For $ 72,800 against A $ 125K- $ 175K estimate. Also, Former Arthur Miller Land Rover It only sells for $ 28,000 for $ 60k- $ 80K.

However, Porsches, more special 356S and 911S, provide intrigue. Fifteen models were offered and none of them really ignited candidates with enthusiasm. The fully restored 1969 911S, estimated at $ 240k- $ 280K, failed to sell (High offer: $ 200K), for example. Even a multi-storey former demonstrator/press car 1963 356B Carrera 2 (pictured above) failed to find a $ 420,000 high offer for a $ 480,000-$-580,000 estimate. Much has been done by the change of generations affecting Ferraris and the British brands of the 60s – can we see the same thing with Porsches of the same era? It is too early to say from one auction – but this is to follow throughout the year.

Rm sotheby’s

Successful sale for RM Sotheby’s, with the aforementioned Ferrari 250 GT LWB Tour de France proved to be the most sold classic batch of Scottsdale sales. However, there were some remarkable results of the evaluation and some records on the road: 2015 Ferrari 458 Special in a rare shade of blue large modified and racing by Steve Beddor in a period sold for $ 758,500 for a $ 375,000 score of $ 375,000 dollars.

There were some interesting results for Restomods when sales of Scottsdale. The above 1955 Lancia Aurelia B20 GT Fuorilegge by Thornley Kelham, sold for $ 533K against a $ 600k -$ 800K estimate, while the Porsche 911 of 1995 is removed from the Gunther Werk -1,1 million dollars; It is now available for $ 975,000. Other struggles included one of 13 since 1993. The Mercedes-Benz 500 GE 6.0 AMG, which sold for $ 78,400 for a $ 125,000 estimate of $ 750k- $ 1 million.
