Sioux Falls, SD (Dakota News now) – a reader’s literacy program starts on February 10 and will continue until April 25.
Molly O’Connor and Brooke Sif with React’s literacy have joined Dakota News now to share more about the program.
“Read once a week with a second -grader for 45 minutes over Zoom. So this is one of the easiest options for volunteers and there is a short period of time for volunteering, “O’Conor said.
“Anyone who has an internet connection can join,” SIF said.
The program works with two schools, Anne Sullivan Elementary and Hawthorne Elementary, reading with everyone in their second -grade class.
