Swedish contractor Skanska has won a $ 91 million contract for the construction of $ 7,000 sq.m of Texas A & M University Scientific Center.
The facility will be located on the college campus and will contain an audience, laboratories, classrooms, seminar spaces and processing opportunities, as well as offices for students and teachers.
Texas University A&M is pursuing a meat science program that teaches meat selection courses and ranking, trade, processing and food safety.
Construction is due in December 2025 and completed by January 2028.
