3 District swimmers celebrate FHS Senior Night – Arlington Citizen

Celebrating Senior Night, the Fremont Swimming and Diving Teams swept Grand Island in their home pool on Thursday night.
The girls from Tiger were dominant, winning a double 100-64 while the boys came out with 85-84 win at the Dylan Family Aquatics Center.
Of the five elderly people of coach David Strub, three swim for FHS through the cooperatives of Washington County. Jane Busbum and Riley Schroter are a pioneer in cooperation at the Blair High School as freshmen, while Dathan Hansen represents both his tigers and the Eagles of Arlington.
Michai Moore and Julie Stanez of Fremont were recognized with their colleagues 12th graders during the double.
Busboom, who will continue his college swimming career, won four graduates first against Grand Island. She won the back of 100 yards at 1: 00.53 and is combined with Schroeter, BHS ‘Kennedy Zehner, Alexis Rasmussen, Kami Spilinek and Stulens to win relay competitions.
In addition to his two wins in the relay, Schroter also won a 100 freestyle in 56.44 seconds and was second in 200 IM.
Hansen was second in the 100 freestyle, but joined his fellow tigers for victories in the baton of 200 circles (1: 48.88), 200 free relay (1: 34.41) and 400 free relay (3: 30.3. Moore, Zaine Kessler, Jacob Hanson of Elliot Vesh and Blair also contributed to the relay competitions.
Before Dual, Strub noted how many three adults in Washington County in his program. He recalled that he went to a meeting of the Blair School Board, a successful cooperative campaign, to bring a bus and Shro into the basket.
“Jane and Riley have made a huge impact from the beginning in their first year,” the coach said.
Since then, Blair’s duo has been collecting top endings, including many during the NSAA Championship in Lincoln.
“Apart from the results and all medals and other things, they are just great kids in general,” Strubal said. “In practice, they work hard. They are very good leaders. “
In the meantime, Hansen has made his largest contributions to Varsit in recent seasons, making Fremont’s state team as a junior.
“We have a small team for boys and Dathan is a really smart, educated and competitive person,” Strubl said. “He just really helps to lead the boys’ team, and also just does everything US coaches say.”
Hansen’s best times can still be ahead.
“This year, entering (a meeting of the Heartland athletic conference) and the state, I have a really good feeling that it will drop a lot of time and have a shot to qualify individually if we can get this time even more,” Strubel said S
In addition to the efforts of adults against Grand Island, Hanson – the BHS swimmer – added wins in 200 IM and 100 backs to go with his relay.
Hannah Hunink from Blair scored 1: 24.74 in the 100-by-bust, while Zechner was second in the 500 freestyle.
Eli Hansen of Arlington won team points in the first place in the 1 -meter diving event, and Blair Fileh Fileh Files Lelh was second in the 200 freestyle. The best results of Mason Lau from the double were a pair of relays in fourth place.
Fremont – and her adults – next swim at 5:30 pm today in Lincoln Northeast.
