“I’ll be back stronger than ever,” the rapper wrote on Instagram.
Cardi B fans will have to wait a little longer until the rapper returns to live concerts.
The “WAP” singer, who gave birth to her third child last month, was set to headline Atlanta’s One Music Fest this weekend, but had to pull out days before her scheduled performance due to a health issue.
“I’m so sad to share this news, but I’ve been in the hospital recovering from a medical emergency for the past few days and won’t be able to perform at ONE Music Fest,” Cardi wrote on social media.

“It breaks my heart that I won’t be able to see my fans this weekend and I really wish I was there,” she continued. “Bardi Gang — thank you for your understanding and I’ll be back better and stronger soon. Don’t worry. I love you all.’
Cardi did not elaborate on the nature of the medical emergency, and her representatives did not immediately respond to Entertainment Weekly’s request for comment.

Cardi recently discussed the “freak accident” that jeopardized her third pregnancy, a fall in which she “tore a tendon in my pelvis […] right where my baby’s head is.”
“I dilated and had contractions every two minutes for 24 hours,” she recalls. “So I had to be monitored and I was in a lot of pain. I couldn’t move for two days straight.”
One Music Fest reshared Cardi’s message on Instagram with its own update, writing: “Unfortunately, @iamcardib has announced that she is no longer available to join us this year due to ongoing health issues. Let’s all keep her in our prayers for a full recovery! We are working hard to find a replacement at this late date.”
Other headliners at the two-day festival include Earth, Wind & Fire, Nelly, Gunna, Jill Scott, Glorilla, Victoria Monét and Sexy Red.
