A former Wisconsin female basketball player has accused Badgers coach Marisa Mosseli of manipulating, threatening and creating a toxic environment.

Tessa Towers, who spent her freshman and sophomores in Wisconsin, before transferring to Ball State, made the claims in a video she posted on Tiktok over the weekend.

Towers have made a number of Moseli accusations, including that Wisconsin’s coach made her sign a release form to allow Moseli to have access to her therapeutic sessions and that coach and employees threaten to expel her from the team.

“My coach gave me a choice between recognizing myself in a psychiatric hospital or being kicked out of the team!” Towers wrote in a slide at Tiktok’s post.

In another slide, towers at first glance accused the coaching staff in Wisconsin for forcing her to hide all the concerned thoughts of her therapist.

“My coach and staff said that if I said something remotely was close to SU’s thoughts!

Towers also accused Moseli of excluding her from team travel and forcing her to test for autism.

She also claims to be “forced to leave the team in the middle of the season by my coach and staff.”

“I would leave my [coach’s] Office, by surrounding my eyes every time, “she wrote in another slide.

Towers took a vacation in December 2022, who was in the middle of his freshman with Wisconsin.

The University of Wisconsin acknowledged that he was considering allegations in a statement to Star Press.

“We are aware of the comments shared online by former Badger Tessa Towers student and we’ll look at this question,” they said. “We take care deeply about the physical and mental well-being of all the athletes in our teams, during and after their time on the campus. Although we would like to share an additional context around Tessa’s comments, federal confidentiality laws forbid us from publicly dealing with health -related claims in Tessa’s social media account. ”

In addition, several former Badgers players have shown support for Towers in comments on the publication, such as Krystyna Ellew, Tessa Grady, Mary Ferrito, Imbie Jones, Sacia Vanderpool and Sydney Hiliard’s likes.

The towers appeared in four common games for Badgers and an average of 2.3 minutes.

Since then, she has played in 12 ball status games and is an average of 3.1 points per game.
