Arizona Cardinals need a new internal coach of line players after losing Sam Sifkes in the ranks of college.

Siefkes accepted work to become a protected coordinator at Virginia Tech yesterday.

Siefkes, hired by Cardinals’s head coach Jonathan Gannon, when he first took over in 2023, received a lot of approval from his current former boss:

“Virginia Tech and Pry coach get a remarkable leader in the coaching world. Sam is a fantastic communicator, teacher and has incredible knowledge about how to stop crimes. He is a great coach and an even better man. He will bring competitive endurance and a ton of juice to Blacksburg.

Cardinal leader Mc Wilson also headed for Siefkes on Twitter/X:

Siefkes has been an attractive Virginia Tech trainer thanks to his experience in the defense coordinator Nick Ralis in the last two seasons. Although Arizona is certainly considered one of the best units in NFL, the protection of the cardinals exceeded expectations in 2024.

“People from all over the country could not stop praising Sam’s knowledge of the game and his abilities as a coach,” said Virginia Tech coach Brent Prai (H/T ESPN).

“Until I got to know him, I couldn’t agree more. I’m glad he joined our program. He worked under some of the best minds in the game.”

Now Gannon will either have to promote internally or look outside the Tempe facility to replace his internal linear coach.
