Cypress salad at J. Alexander’s restaurant

J. Alexander Off Bluebonnet Boulevard hosts a lively lunch crowd with a full menu (and six salad options to choose from). I went with a salad of cypresses with bakes, avocado, tomato, croutons of corn bread, light fried chicken, bacon, cheese and ranch dressing.

The crunchy but delicate chicken chicken bursts with aroma, complemented by a bed of heart foliage with sharp dressing, creamy avocado and crunchy homemade croutons. This salad was an instant hit for me (and the table). My only regret is not to get a side of fried potatoes to finish the meal.

Serve warmly and garnished with hardened glaze, but the cherry of the ballot is collected in the center and remains a little scattered, creating a pocket with pus with sweet kindness to return for every bite.
