Pedestrian struck, killed by car in North Las Vegas – Las Vegas Review-Journal

A man died Tuesday night after being hit by a sedan in North Las Vegas.

The North Las Vegas Police Department said a pedestrian was struck by a Lexus sedan around 6:48 p.m. while crossing the street outside a crosswalk on Martin Luther King Boulevard near Brooks Street.

The police found that the pedestrian had a visible head injury. Medical personnel treated him, but he died of his injuries at the scene.

Officers said they do not believe the driver of the Lexus was impaired during the crash.

The identity of the pedestrian, along with the cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office at a later date.
