TALLAHASSEE, FL-Rain is moving into the Florida Panhandle today, bringing cooler temperatures and potentially impacting drivers on I-10. Morning showers are expected to continue across the region, while lighter rain and isolated showers may linger this evening.

According to the National Weather Service in Tallahassee, the heaviest rain is likely to affect areas north of the Panhandle, although showers may extend into nearby cities during the evening. Highs today will reach 64 degrees in Tallahassee, with lows dropping to 46 degrees by tonight. Commuters are urged to drive with caution as rain and fog may reduce visibility, especially early Tuesday morning.

Looking ahead, Tuesday will see patches of fog in the morning, clearing to mostly sunny skies by the afternoon with a high of 65 degrees. Warmer temperatures are expected by midweek, with highs reaching 72 degrees on Wednesday. A light chance for showers returns on Friday, with the potential for a thunderstorm through the weekend.

Residents are encouraged to plan for wet roads and cooler conditions today as they prepare for improved weather later in the week. For the latest updates, visit weather.gov/tallahassee.
