Speaking to TV Insider in a new interview, here’s part of what creator Dan Erickson had to say:
One thing we wanted to play with – we knew that people were so strongly engaged in the love story between Irving and Burt and had such warm communication with them down there. And… the question with all the emotions, and especially with the love in this show, is always “What goes beyond the barrier?” So, we thought there would be something there … If the two meet … I think there would be a spark of something, even even something They don’t fully understand it.
Even if they do not fully understand it, will there not be a chance to watch much of it yet? We tend to think so. We also know that Irving was interrupted some time ago, and we wonder with the time if there is a chance of the World and Auty’s worlds to start falling apart. After all, why would anyone think that this technology was perfect?
