Winston-Salem, NC (WGHP), a Winston-Salem man, accused of attacking a woman, has been faced with more accusations after claiming to have fired a pistol in police officers, according to a Winston-Salem police station.

Around 7:45 pm on Thursday, officers reached 500 block of the old plantation circle after receiving a report on an attack involving a woman. The woman left the scene before the police arrived. Police claim that Campbell met with the woman.

When the officers arrived at the scene, they tried to talk to the suspect, of 37-year-old Tyson William Campbell of Winston-Salem, at the front door. Campbell then continued to fire a gun through the door in the direction of the officers.
