One died in firing early in the morning – wsaz

Charleston, West Virginia (WSAZ) – the Charleston Police Department publishes a new firing information that killed one person.

Charleston Police Lieutenant Tony Hazlet said the shooting took place in Elizabeth Street’s block 400 shortly before 4am on Sunday.

Police in Charleston said the employees had discovered a victim, Ethan Samule Chick-Colbert from St. Obansa, in a car with multiple firearms. Life -saving measures have been taken, but the victim has been declared dead on the spot.

In a press release, police in Charleston said witnesses saw a man dressed in dark clothes approaching the victim’s car and firing several times before running away from the area on foot.

According to police in Charleston, the shooting happened around 3:50 in the morning on Elizabeth Street, near Jackson Street, in the eastern end of the city.

Lieutenant from Charleston Police Tony Hazlet said one person was killed and detectives were investigating a murder.

There are no arrested.

The victim’s name is not reported.
