South Carolina stops the female basketball DJ, apologizes to Flau’jae Johnson – Saturday to the south

South Carolina stopped her DJ, hired for women’s basketball games and apologized to Flau’jae Johnson for what he calls an inappropriate choice of a song aimed at LSU Star.

Gamecocks beat the tigers 66-56 on Friday night in Colombia. At the end of the game, Shejay played the instrumental for the song “Cut Friends” by Camoflauge, who died in 2003 6 months before his daughter Flau’jae Johnson was born.

Social media publications have attracted attention to the dispute. DJ to the reply to a marked post on Instagram, adding “my bad”, surrounded by Emoji, covering his mouth with his hand and crying laughing Emoji. Johnson posted a screenshot of X before Twitter, saying he would have the loss, but called the “nasty” behavior, saying it was not funny.

DJ to take on X on Saturday night, posting an apology.

The apology did not prevent South Carolina from taking action and stopping DJ for play. The program released a statement on Sunday, apologizing to Johnson.

We turn to the inappropriate choice of songs on Friday night and a subsequent Instagram post by DJ, which is hired to work on our women’s basketball games. Her actions were understandably upset with Flu Johnson and her family and disrespectful to the LSU program and fans. The rivalries of the conference and the passionate fan bases should only serve to improve sports, not to be used to direct individual players personally. We regret that I came to our place after a game that saw both teams capture the level of national attention that the female basketball won, and we apologize to Flau’jae, her family and LSU. As a result of her actions, DJ should be stopped for the next game of the Basketball Basketball House and we will meet with her to provide additional education for our expectations for her in the future.

After improving to 19-1, South Carolina is on his way on Monday to face Tennessee. Gamecocks return home next Sunday to host anchrum.
