Vivo’s Y-Series is centered around budget models and it was joined by the Vivo Y30 earlier this month. The previous release was meant for the Malaysian market and is now targeting other Asian markets – possibly including Pakistan.

91Mobiles reports that the Vivo Y30 will debut in India in the first week of June. If we extrapolate based on this, the phone may soon break into the Pakistani market as well – maybe before June ends.

Let’s talk about details. The Vivo Y30 manages to walk the line between a premium build and a budget price. Around the front, you’ll find a punch-hole display, with side bezels you can barely make out. The screen surrounded by these bezels stretches to 6.47 inches, producing HD+ resolution and an impressive 90.7% screen-to-body ratio.

The rear panel has a predictable but striking aesthetic. Its edges and corners have been smoothed to give you a 3D design and feel. You can choose from the muted Moonstone White (with its subtle wave-like pattern) or the more exciting Dazzling Blue (which features a sunburst aesthetic). A camera body with a rounded reputation occupies the top left corner—flanked by a capacitive fingerprint reader on the right.

AI Quad-Camera gives you a 13MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-angle lens, a 2MP super-macro camera and a 2MP Bokeh sensor. As is typical for Vivo, the aperture of the main camera is negligible – coming in at f/2.2, so noise-free photography is off the table. The front selfie camera has an 8MP sensor behind it.

The Vivo Y30 uses a Mediatek Helio P35 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The configuration should be enough for daily use and even some light gaming, thanks to Vivo’s Multi-Turbo 3.0 and Ultra Game mode. A massive 5000 mAh battery and the latest Funtouch OS 10 power these internals.

While it won’t be confirmed until an official announcement, WhatMobile expects the Vivo Y30 to start at Rs. 36,999.
