Virginia’s state police say they received a call on Saturday around 3:15 pm by a man saying he was shot while driving west on the I-64 near Norview Avenue.
Norfolk, Washington – Police are investigating after an interstate shooting on Saturday afternoon in Norfolk.
Virginia’s state police say they received a call around 3:15 pm by a man who says he was shot while driving west on the I-64 near Avenue Norview. The victim was driving a blue sedan of Kia Stinger when someone in an unknown vehicle started firing at his car.
The victim came out of the interstate on Chesapik Boulevard and called the police. The victim suffered a life -threatening injury and was taken to a general hospital in Norfolk.
State police asks all witnesses who have traveled west of I-64 around 15:15 between Norview Avenue and Chesapik Boulevard, who may have seen the victim or vehicle of the shooter before, during or after the incident, call police at (804) 750 -8788 or by email of [email protected].
