Blossburg, Washington (AP) -chaUncey Wiggins made four 3-indicative and scored 16 points to lead four in a double figure and Clemson goes to 72-57 victory over Virginia Tech on Saturday night for his fifth direct victory.
Del Jones scored 13 points for Clemson (17-4, 9-1 ACC). Victor Lahin and Jaden Zaker added 11 points in number.
Virginia Tech, which lags 17 points lagging at the beginning of the second half, uses 16-3 run to download within 49-45 with the remaining 10:10, but did not approach.
A tide of 12-1, which included Ian Shifeline Dunk and a pair of free throws, gave the tigers the biggest lead of the game, 72-53, with 2:45.
Toby Loal scored 14 points and grabbed six rebounds to lead Virginia Tech (8-12, 3-6), which lost three straight.
Clemson closed the first half at a range of 17-3 for the lead 41-29 at the break. Wiggins scored 10 points from the first half, and Lahin added eight for the Tigers, which fired 60% (18 out of 30).
Virginia Tech plays in Florida on Wednesday.
Clemson plays at NC State on Saturday.
