Georgetown, Del. – Delaware State Police arrested 35-year-old Douglas McLean of DUI’s Wilmington, drugs and stolen pistol accusations after stopping traffic early in January 24th.
Patrol’s folk watched an exceeded speed of Ford Fusion and turned to Dupon Boulevard near Forest Road Deer. The driver, identified as McLean, showed signs of damage during traffic stopping, police said.
After conducting standardized tests for the sobriety of the field, the soldier arrested McLean for driving under influence. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed a stolen 9 -million pistol, ammunition and approximately 2.3 grams of cocaine, authorities said.
McLean was transported to troops 4, where he was charged with the following crimes:
- Possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a crime (a crime)
- Possession of a deadly weapon by a person banned (a crime)
- Possession of a firearm or ammunition by a person banned (a crime)
- Getting a stolen firearm (offense)
- Possession of a firearm while under the influence
- Possession of a controlled substance
- Driving
- Speed
- Non -compliance
