Stabbing suspect arrested after North Las Vegas barricade – Las Vegas Review-Journal

A suspect in the stabbings of two women this month in North Las Vegas is in custody.

Sinetta Harper, 38, was booked into the North Las Vegas Community Correctional Center on Tuesday. She has been charged with two counts of attempted murder, according to a press release from the North Las Vegas Police Department.

Earlier Tuesday, Harper barricaded himself in the 3300 block of North Decatur Boulevard. She was later taken into custody by an NLVPD SWAT team.

The stabbings happened shortly after 9:20 a.m. on Oct. 3 in the area of ​​Decatur Boulevard and Ann Road. Arriving officers found two elderly female victims with apparent stab wounds.

The medical personnel who arrived at the scene transported both victims to Travma UMBAL with serious injuries. Both victims have since been released from the hospital.
