Why the Minnesotans should cheer up for the commanders tomorrow – ESPN SIOUX FALLS

Games tomorrow afternoon and evening will decide which NFL teams will play at Super Bowl on Sunday, February 9th. While the Vikings have already been eliminated from hunting on Lombardi, there is a team where the Minnesotans could stick to the early game. This team will be Washington’s commanders, the team has some shared story with #Boldnorth, so it would not be right to cheer up for anyone else.

Super Bowl XXVI

The last time Washington won Super Bowl was the last time the team played in the big game in 1992 at Metrodome Hubert Humphrey, in a game that included the first SUPER BOWL TV show. (Honestly, when you look at it now, it was pretty lame, but at that time, what show!) CBS, which broadcast the game this year, faced the competition from Fox’s in Livin ‘Color as they broadcast a “special” episode to compete at halftime from Minneapolis.

The game was known as the Super Bowl 26 and it is played on January 26, 1992, in front of over 63,000 fans.

The retreat of the Redskins at the time was Mark Ripien, who led the team to winning 37-34 above the buffalo accounts, led by Jim Kelly. The coach of the team was Joe Gibbs, who would win his 3rd championship with the team in the last 10 years.

There are some other similarities or reasons to cheer up in Washington this weekend, other than the eagles fans, is that former Washington QB nephew Mark Ripien Brett was the Viking QB last season, and the former Width Vikings Chad receiver Beeb’s son of Buffalo Great Don Beebe.

How about some ex -players with DC Minnesota Connection? The former QB and fans’ favorite, until he left Kirk cousin, was with Washington, the hall of the famous NFL Paul Crause went to play for Redskins when his time was in Minnesota.

I will be glad to see a rematch of Super Bowl 26 between Buffalo and Washington, but something tells me that we will take Kansas City against Philadelphia Super Bowl.
