Man killed, woman injured in double shooting outside Seattle’s Pioneer Square bar
seattle – A man was killed and a woman was hospitalized after a double shooting in Seattle’s Pioneer Square neighborhood early Saturday morning.
Police received reports of shots fired in the 300 block of 2nd Avenue shortly after 1:30 a.m. Calls of a man shot in the parking lot outside the bar at X-Stadium time, according to officials.
Officers found a 40-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head inside a vehicle when they arrived at the scene of the shooting.
Police said they received reports of a woman with a gunshot wound who was admitted to Swedish First Hill Hospital. Officials said he was in stable condition.
Detectives on the scene of the shooting, located more than 15 casings.
The circumstances leading to the shooting remain unclear and police are actively searching for the shooter.
