TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – Temperatures for Saturday will be slightly cooler than Friday, with highs in the 30s to 40s for most of the region. While we won’t get as much sunshine as yesterday, the snow should still continue to melt a bit in NE Kansas.

Temperatures will drop into the low 30s on Sunday, but most areas should stay at or just above freezing. By Monday, conditions will be much warmer, with highs reaching the mid-40s and staying in that range through the end of the week.

We’ll be watching for a chance of rain/snow through the end of next week as a strong storm moves into western Kansas. The forecast is currently calling for mostly rain, but we’ll have updates over the next few days both on air and online.
