LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The UNLV men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams will host Wyoming for a two-day dual meet Friday-Saturday, Jan. 24-25 at the Jim Reitz Pool.
Friday’s first day of competition will begin at 5:00 PM PT, followed by Saturday’s final day of action beginning at 10:00 AM PT.

REBELS ON TOP OF THE WEST MOUNTAIN: The Rebels’ 800 free relay team of sophomore Ava Olson, freshman Grace Wharton, junior Erika Carlson and senior Bridget Sullivan led the conference in the event with a time of 7:13.05.
REBELS WAC LEADER: The Rebel men have six WAC-leading individual times this season, led by senior Daniel Nikusan in the 100 breaststroke (52.11), 200 breaststroke (1:53.65) and 200 IM (1:45.12). Sophomore Tatsuki Inoue in the 200 backstroke (1:43.89) and junior Ian Bellflower in the 200m (1:44.71) also added conference best times. Additionally, the 200 medley relay lineup of sophomore Vickus Potgieter, senior Adnan Beji, redshirt freshman Emil Perez and Nikusan posted the current conference best time this season at 1:25.61.
DIVING SEASON LEADERS: Leading the way for the Rebels on the women’s side is senior Vika Janovska, while sophomore Alex Vasquez and senior Dima Tereshchenko lead the way on the men’s side. Janovska leads the Scarlet & Gray on 1-meter springboard (318.00), 3-meter (339.50) and platform (257.65). Vazquez has team bests in the men’s 1-meter (372.75) and 3-meter (453.95), while Tereshchenko has the team best on platform (355.65).
